I hope you’re all enjoying the sun, I most definitely am!

So, now summer (seems) to have arrived with a scorching heat wave, you must be wondering what you can possibly do to make the most of this beautiful weather.

I know what I’ll be doing!

Manchester Eats is a new festival that is launching this year in Heaton Park. If you’re a fan of food and drink, or just having a great time, then this will be perfect for you. Described as a ‘brand new fine food family festival bringing the very latest in food trends and cuisine to Manchester’s Heaton Park’, it is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

With a number of different activities, such as celebrity chef demos from Macro Pierre-White, Britain’s Best Dish’s Ed Baines, Channel 4’s Matt Tebbutt and award-winning Manchester chef, Mary-Ellen McTague. Additionally, you’ll find a Chester petting zoo, and a chocolate masterclass from In Truffle We Trust, to name but a few. The day is sure to be packed full of fun with so many different things to do, watch, and of course eat. A perfect opportunity to chill with friends and enjoy the sunshine.

A few well known Manchester favourites will also be there, such as Cottonopolis and Manchester Gin (a gin that I absolutely adore, and especially love in this heat), to make the event even better than it already sounds.
